Yes, it is true that the Board has decided to provide threes sets of question papers in stead of five question paper from the annual examination 2004.  It is to be noted here that all three question papers will be entirely different from each other.

The Board has brought down the minimum pass percentage from 35% to 33% w.e.f. the current academic session.

Earlier 40 days were given for the purpose of rechecking but w.e.f. supplementary examination 2003, only 30 days will be given for the purpose of application for rechecking from the date of declaration of result.

This award has been instituted for the girl candidates of Matric Examination only.  The girl candidate standing first in the Matric examination w.e.f. annual examination 2002 will be entitled to Kalpana Chawla Gold Medal along with cash prize of 25,000/-. 

In order to get the Migration Certificate one has to apply on the prescribed form along with the prescribed fee of Rs.50/-.However, from the annual examination 2003 all successful candidates at senior secondary level get their Migration Certificate along with the pass certificates.

Yes. One has to apply on prescribed form along with the prescribed fee applicable as below:

A.                 Rs. 400/- for getting a Duplicate Certificate on the same day by hand.

B.                 Rs. 200/- for getting a Duplicate Certificate by registered post within a week.

C.                Rs. 100/- for getting a Duplicate Certificate by registered post in routine. 

A photograph has to be attached with the application form with both the photograph and the form attested by the Principal of the School last attended.If the Duplicate Certificate is also lost then along with the above, an Affidavit has to be enclosed certifying that the Duplicate Certificate has been lost.
